TIA Life and Pension (TIA L&P) is a separate module of the TIA Solution that extends the core solution with new components specific to the life insurance business.
It provides a comprehensive functional platform and cost efficient support for composite insurance companies (combining general insurance and life lines of business) as well as to insures that only need a pure life solution. TIA L&P includes such new features as actuarial calculations engine, savings account, investments management system and life events handler as well as leverages on the proven strengths of the core TIA Solution modules, such as TIA Product Editor, Policy Administration, Claims and Accounting. In this way TIA has designed a truly integrated and flexible solution that can meet requirements of any customer.
TIA L&P is released as part of TIA 6.3, but offered as a separate licence product.
